Are you ready to take photos you love?
It's easier than ever to take photos these days. After all, we all walk around with cameras in our back pocket. But do you love the photos you take?
Maybe you’ve even tried using that “fancy” digital camera, only to feel disappointed when the pictures don’t turn out the way you hoped.
That’s because photography is both an art and a science. There’s so much more to it than simply pressing the shutter.
In this workshop, I’ll share the 5 most valuable lessons I’ve learned as a photographer — so you can start taking photos you’re proud of, too.
A note from Emily . . .
About 13 years ago, I was very pregnant with our first child when my husband surprised me with our first “fancy” DSLR camera. Neither of us knew how to use it.
After a few frustrated attempts, I set it back on the shelf… where it collected dust for far too long.
But eventually, I realized that capturing beautiful photos of my family was too important to ignore.
I made up my mind to learn — really learn — how to use my camera and take pictures I’d be proud of.
Fast forward to today: I’ve built a thriving photography business and a life I love.
But most importantly, I still use that camera to document my own family’s everyday moments and milestones.
Before photography, I was an elementary teacher. Teaching is my first love.
Now, I get to combine that love of teaching with photography to help you confidently tell your own family’s story through photos you’ll treasure.
